Noah M. Myers, Ph.D., CPA

Assistant Professor of Accounting & Associate Department Chair
Woodbury School of Business, Utah Valley University

Noah Myers is an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Associate Department Chair at Utah Valley University’s Woodbury School of Business. Since joining UVU in 2021, he has taught Accounting Information Systems and Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics in Accounting.

Noah holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from Arizona State University and both a Bachelor and Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University. Before entering academia, he worked as an IT auditor at Ernst & Young in Salt Lake City and as a systems implementation consultant at Squire & Company in Orem. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Utah, and his research focuses on the regulation of the audit profession and the role of technology in business.

Noah serves on the UACPA Executive Board and regularly presents to professional organizations on artificial intelligence, fraud, and data analytics. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and three children, pretending to be a triathlete, and — by his own admission — an unusual enthusiasm for trains and public transit.
