Utah International Charter School is a public charter school serving grades 6 to 12 located in the Millcreek neighborhood of Salt Lake City.
Utah International’s mission is to give English learners a rigorous secondary curriculum by providing content-based English instruction in every class. In addition, Utah International empowers refugees, immigrants and American-born students with collaboration skills, critical-thinking skills, and diverse global perspectives. In the 2025-2026 school year, Utah International had 200 students, of whom most were born outside the United States.

Preferred skills and attributes
- Finance and budgeting experience.
- Ability to commit 2 – 3 hours per month as a volunteer.
- Passion for education and refugee resettlement.
The Utah International Charter School board of trustees meets on the second Wednesday of the month from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
