About the Position:

This position plays a pivotal role on the accounting team – ensuring transactions are properly recorded in a complex, multi-entity environment.  This includes revenue recognition, expense management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, and general ledger management. This is a fast-paced role that requires absolute attention to detail and critical thinking skills to evaluate and resolve unique transactions. This is a full-time, in-office role stationed at our headquarters in Sandy, Utah.

  Your Impact**:**

  • Multi-Entity Environment: Ensure transactions are properly allocated to various entities within the organization.
  • Revenue Cycle Management: Process and review revenue transactions using multiple technology platforms. Manage customer billing.  Assist with semi-monthly and quarterly compensation payment calculations.
  • General Ledger: Actively record, review, and reconcile transactions in Sage Intacct on a daily basis.  Assist in leading the month-end close and adhere to established timelines.
  • Internal Control Framework: Ensure compliance with established controls and assist in new control design as applicable.
  • Financial Statement Review: Assist in producing and analyzing financial statement variances.
  • Accounts Payable: Review AP transactions and maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the finance leadership to support accounting projects, financial reporting, month end close, and other duties as assigned.
  • Provide support for audits and other financial reviews as needed.

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in an accounting related field. Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

  • Have demonstrated ability to distill complex or ambiguous information into clear debits and credits for general ledger posting.
  • You value doing what is right – integrity never compromises.

  Your Toolkit**:**

  • Strong computer and technical skills (living in Outlook, Zoom, Excel, and Sage Intacct on a daily basis).
  • The ability to analyze data and ensure the accuracy of outputs.
  • The ability to create and follow strong internal controls.
  • The ability to work unsupervised and think through complex problems.
  • Detail-oriented with an ownership mentality towards the quality of your work.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
