Senior Tax Analyst

REH Company (formerly the parent company of Sinclair Oil Corporation) is seeking a corporate Senior Tax Analyst. This position will assist in the preparation of US federal and state S Corporation income tax returns, sales tax returns, personal property tax filings, and unclaimed property filings as well as provide research and support for tax audits and planning. This position will directly report to the Income Tax Manager. This is a full-time position located at the corporate office in downtown Salt Lake City. Responsibilities: ·         Assist in the preparation and timely filing of all required federal and state income and franchise tax filings and payments. ·         Work with Income Tax Manager in areas of property tax, sales and use tax and other tax filings. ·         Assist with federal and state tax audits. ·         Prepare responses to letters and notices from tax authorities. ·         Manage the unclaimed property process and filings. ·         File corporate annual reports. ·         Provide tax support and guidance to accounting team and management. ·         Perform and review tax account reconciliations. ·         Perform special projects and analysis as assigned. ·         Maintain certain tax compliance and tax fixed asset software.
