Tax Manager
We are growing rapidly, and looking for a tax accountant eager to grow with the firm. Opportunities for advancement are available immediately. Part-time or full-time options are available, as well as flexibility with hours and location. Office locations are available in Draper and/or Orem, and partial remote work is welcome.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with expertise in individual, partnership, and corporate tax
- Current CPA certification or testing and licensure in progress
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in accounting
- Strong understanding of tax law; background with GAAP preferred, but not necessary
- Experience with tax software and QuickBooks
- Excellent analytical, research, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to construct and deliver clear, concise and organized oral and written communications to clients and team members alike
- Strong ability to work independently and with a team
- Self-starter with the ability to listen effectively, problem solve, and exercise good judgement in decision making
- Experience with managing and mentoring staff
