The division assists department leadership continuously improve operations by providing independent and objective analyses, appraisals and recommendations concerning the effectiveness and efficiency of operations and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.  Audits are conducted in accordance with professional standards by a team of highly qualified individuals who hold professional designations such as CPA, CIA, and CFE.
