Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or preferred MBA with accounting. 5 years’ experience preferably in non-profit accounting.

Reporting Relationship: 3 Campus Principals

Primary Activities:

  1. Directs the annual preparation of the school and support program budgets.

a.     Budgets must be completed, and approved no later than September 15 b.     Works with the school principals and school boards to prepare, review, and approve operating and capital expense budgets. c.     Assures compliance to directives, including adopted accounting standards, legal, state, and federal requirements. 2.     Assures fiscal responsibility a.     Assures financial stability b.     Assures the adoption & maintenance of the proper financial controls, assets, and standards. 3.     Directly manages Finance staff a.     Hire and manage Finance staff.  b.     Assures that annual performance reviews 4.     Actively participates as an ex-official board member to school boards a.     Prepares budgetary operating summaries b.     Prepares operational summaries c.     Advises boards on financial and operational issues 5.     Supports the Skaggs Catholic Center small businesses a.     Food Services b.     Campus Store c.     Custodial Services       d.     Daycare Services e.     Facilities Services f.      Bus Fleet Services

$85,000 to $90,000 based on experience. The salary will be paid in 24 semi-monthly installments and subject to deductions for taxes and other withholdings as required by law or the policies of the company. Annual wage adjustments are effective September 1, annually.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm

The current, standard company health and disability insurance coverage are generally supplied per company policy. Eligibility for other employer paid benefits including the 401(a) contributions on your behalf and a $20,000 Life Insurance, will generally take place per company policy (the January after date of hire). 50% Tuition and Daycare deduction if applicable, paid time for vacation, sick, personal and holidays.
