Senior Tax Accountant

Averett & Associates, PC is a rapidly growing CPA firm in Taylorsville, Utah.  We are looking for a full-time senior tax accountant to add to our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and be a CPA or EA. We require a self-motivated team player with exceptional analytical skills, technical tax knowledge, strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an interest in the continued growth of our company and our clients’ business interests and professional endeavors.

The senior tax accountant will be the first reviewer of work prepared by other staff members, will prepare complicated returns, will communicate with clients as needed, and will help with accounting, tax planning, and advisory services outside of tax season. Team members must be comfortable with technology as we are working to advance our firm practices.
