About Emerging Professionals:
The Emerging Professionals was formed to provide networking opportunities, leadership skills, and social events for members licensed within the past 10 years. This group helps build a community among colleagues to support each other on their career paths.

Dr. Mason Snow is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Utah Valley University. He holds bachelor’s degrees in both Accounting and Economics, as well as a master’s degree in Accounting, all from Brigham Young University. He received his Ph.D. in Accounting from Arizona State University in 2022.
His teaching and research center around data analytics and the integration of emerging technologies in accounting. Dr. Snow is the author of several analytics cases, some of which have received Best Paper awards and have been published in top academic journals. His materials have also been featured on KPMG’s University Connection platform.
In addition to his academic role, he teaches a professional course titled “AI, Analytics, & Automation” through UVU’s Executive Education program, which is open to individual learners and available for firm-wide trainings by request.
Dr. Snow, and his wife Kellie are the proud parents of four children. Together, they enjoy cooking, gardening, and playing racquet sports.

Mason Snow
