The Utah Division of Consumer Protection launched a new online application in November of 2016, and would like to encourage users to complete the Charitable Solicitations Permit renewal application using this system.  To access the online application please visit: https://secure.utah.gov/charities/start.html.

The new account management feature allows charities to file, renew, manage registrations, view the charity application status and edit contact information. In addition, it automatically saves the information entered into the system and allows applicants to return to complete their application at a later date.

Since this is the division's preferred method of filing, the manual application, including the Supplement to the URS, are no longer available to download from our website.

This is for informational purposes only.  If you have recently renewed, please consider and/or continue filing online in the future.  For all other organizations, the division will notify you via email three months in advance of the expiration date.  This will include the registration number and license ID number needed to add your existing charity to your dashboard and renew online.  If you do not receive this notice within two months of your expiration date, please contact the division.

If you have any questions or concerns about the online filing, please contact Shauna DeWolf or Amy Corak at 801 530-6001, or send an email to dcp-charities@utah.gov.
