The members of the Utah Association of CPAs is vitally interested in sound education and realize the importance of being involved in local communities. CPAs are available to come to K-12 classrooms and present a variety of programs that are age appropriate. If you would be interested in having a CPA come to a K-12 classroom, please contact us.

Start Here Go Places is designed to assist students in understanding the career opportunities offorded by the CPA profession --  this website is a great place to relax and experience how CPAs work with and in businesses of all sizes.  Contests -- even a chance to win prizes!

Money Means Business is an extension of Start Here Go Places and offers even more opportunities to explore the exciting world of business!  The latest online game is Catch Me If You Can!

As a part of a series for public television, the AICPA Foundation collaborated on Pennywise and Business Building Bocks videos.

The Pennywise videos includes the following topics:

There are a variety of student business and accounting related organizations that serve your local community. Here are two we believe do exceptional jobs of helping young students:

• Future Business Leaders of America - Phi Beta Lambda, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization is today's most successful and comprehensive High School leadership organization in America. It lays the needed foundation for every future business leader to succeed in today's and tomorrow's business world. Not only does it teach students about business, or make them experience the real world, but develops the necessary effective leadership style that is required for success.
  Future Business Leaders of America is all about people; it’s who you meet and who you connect with that enables you to extend your leadership abilities, and FBLA’s unique programs and leadership conferences makes these ventures possible. You don’t have to become a business person just because you joined FBLA; whether you want to be a doctor or an artist, FBLA teaches you the necessary leadership abilities that will make you understand and be more successful with the career that you choose. There are chapters in Utah for K-12 students and a calendar of Utah events available on the Utah site.
• Junior Achievement uses hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. In partnership with business and educators, Junior Achievement brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential.  There are a host of programs for student to better understand the nature of business, and even scholarship opportunities. There is a Utah Chapter of Junior Achivement that Utah students can become involved in.
