Password hacking has become far too prevalent in today's news.  From Heartbleed to Home Depot to Bank of America to celebrity photos.  In order to integrate all of our mobile devices (work computer, home computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.), we need to set up accounts for all of the services we use (banking, shopping, news, travel, entertainment, etc.).  Each account requires a user ID and password.  It is not unusual to have hundreds of accounts and passwords.  These become impossible to remember unless you do one of two things: 1) write them down; or 2) make them all the same.  Either way, you are violating all of the best practices for good user ID and password management, thus exposing your personal data to internet attackers.

This course will discuss the best practices for maintaining your user IDs and passwords.  We will review the top password keeper programs and demonstrate how they are the best way to secure your personal data.
