The quality of your data analysis is directly related to the quality of your data structure.  Most Excel users start with a blank spreadsheet, and then enter their data with little or no thought about the results or desired outcome.  Now that I have all this data in Excel, why won't my PivotTables work?  Why is it so hard to create a chart of my data?  How come it takes so long to update my spreadsheet every month?  Why do people keep messing up my spreadsheet?  These and many other questions point back to the beginning, a blank spreadsheet.

 

This course will focus on the proper techniques every CPA should use when trying to crunch and analyze Excel data.  Although we will not preform data analysis using tools like PivotTables, Charts, Data Analysis Tools, we will set the stage for making you successful with these tools.  It is highly recommended that you take this course before you attend the PivotTable or Maximizing The Accuracy webinars.
