However, in order to advance to manager, director or partner, CPAs and financial professionals must develop their EQ as much as their IQ. This course is designed to help you understand the subtle nonverbal cues that can give you an advantage in business development and internal staff relations. Understanding nonverbal communication will help you in everything from proposals to final negotiations and mentorship to board meetings. Your awareness of nonverbal communication will reduce inconsistent messaging and help you build strong relationships.

 

This two-hour course is a prerequisite for the small-group, interactive course titled Executive Presentation Presence: Technicians Who Communicate. In that seminar, individual videos and critiques will take your communication to the executive level of delivery.

Build confidence through awareness of powerful nonverbal communication.

Gain insights into how attitude, assumptions, and nonverbal behavior help or hinder success.
Learn how space can disrupt or control a communication situation.
Develop a listening to understand attitude, for both colleague, client and prospect interactions.
