Member Discounts**
  • UACPA Members receive a 10% Early Registration Discount on all UACPA sponsored Group Study courses and Conferences, when registering at least two weeks in advance. Be sure to watch the early registration discount cut-off date to ensure you receive the best possible rate on your professional development.   • AICPA Members receive $30 off of any course (excludes cluster and core training courses) where the AICPA is listed as the vendor. (We must have your AICPA member number on file - if the discount does not register, call the UACPA).
To receive the UACPA early registration discount, registration and monies MUST be received by the early registration date listed. Members of both the UACPA & AICPA receive the lowest possible price on AICPA courses when registering early. Registrations received AFTER the early registration deadline date will be charged the regular Member or Non-member fee.
Conferences
The UACPA Sponsors multiple conferences a year, which are designed by CPAs for CPAs.
  • State & Local Government Conference May 14, 2010: This conference is designed by the State & Local Government (SLG) Conference Task Force. The curriculum focuses on accounting and auditing, technology, and management issues unique to CPAs and support staff working in State & Local Government.
  • First Annual Accounting & Auditing Conference June 11, 2010 : This conference is designed by the Accounting & Auditing Conference Task Force, for the professional that needs to learn about, discuss, and be able to address the many changing technical accounting and auditing standards of the profession.
  • CPAs in Business & Management Summer Conference August 12, 2010: Formerly known as CPAs in Industry, this diverse group of accountants has just as diverse a range of needs. Recognizing the challenges faced by CPAs in Business & Management (BAM), the BAM Advisory Council provides a conference where CPAs and other finance professionals are able to network and idea share while learning from other professionals.
  • Technology Conference December 2-3, 2010: This Conference is filled with 16 hours of fast-paced presentations designed to maximize your time and enhance your learning. Nationally recognized speakers have extensive expertise in numerous software applications. They will share their knowledge with you in order to help you do your job with efficiency and ease. Participants will receive helpful tips and advanced techniques, along with the tools and skills necessary to keep up with the ever-increasing pace of changes in computer technology. All sessions feature high quality, full-color computer projection systems for clear viewing. This conference is designed for CPAs in public practice or industry who want to take better advantage of technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Winter Conference December 16-17, 2010: CPAs and other professional staff will appreciate the annual Winter Conference for its variety of topics and presenters. Designed by the Winter Conference Task Force, which is comprised of UACPA members from different areas of practice and business, the Winter Conference has something for everyone.
