AASB Issues Exposure Draft on Reporting on Controls at a Service Organization

The Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AASB), an independent body that sets high-quality standards and guidance for auditing, assurance and related services engagements that enable the public accounting profession to serve the public interest, announced this week it has issued Exposure Draft on Reporting on Controls at a Service Organization. The AASB’s proposed Canadian Standard on Assurance Engagements (CSAE) is written in alignment with the AICPA Auditing Standard Board’s proposed standard.
